Re-opening of Shortstown Surgery
As the Coronavirus restrictions are beginning to ease and our staff, who were previously shielding and/or isolating, are beginning to return to work, we are now pleased to announce that we gradually resuming more services here at the surgery.
This means that we are now able to have staff on site at Shortstown every day, Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 18:30. We would still request that, where possible, you avoid coming to the practice to reduce the risks to both yourself and our staff. Please note that nobody will be allowed into the practice unless they have first spoken to a clinician and been given an appointment.
However, this does mean that if it is unavoidable there will be staff available at these times to assist you. To communicate with us, please use, in order of preference:
- SystmOnline (via our website)
- Our website
- NHS App
- Phone – call the surgery number and you will be redirected or, if you are experiencing difficulties, please call Wootton direct on 01234 762500
To avoid the risk of contamination please avoid bringing potentially contaminated paper such as prescription requests etc. to the practice.
We shall continue to minimise physical correspondence and shall instead use electronic methods. Prescriptions will be electronically sent to your nominated pharmacy so you can pick up them up directly. MED3 notes (N.B. NOT Coronavirus isolation notes) will be emailed or sent to you via secure portal.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during these difficult times.
